God’s Pantry
- God’s Pantry is a humanitarian organization that collects food donations and distributes them to hungry families all over Kentucky. They are always looking for youth volunteers to help sort and pack food, and are very welcoming to large groups. This is a great way to get community service hours in and have some fun

Cardinal Hill
- Cardinal Hill is a healthcare facility that’s dedicated to treating people with disabilities and helping them rebuild their lives to achieve independence. The organization needs volunteers to help with many various aspects of the rehabilitation process, and is very receptive to youth volunteers. After applying, it’s easy to go in and help in many different ways.

Habitat for Humanity
- Habitat for Humanity works to build and renovate viable, affordable housing and sell these houses to people in need for no profit and with no interest charged. Volunteers are always needed to help provide the labor in building houses and moving things around, and the organization is always welcoming towards youth volunteers.

Lexington Humane Society
- The Lexington Humane Society helps animals throughout the community by feeding them, sheltering them, and treating their illnesses. The society also educates the public about the dangers of pet overpopulation. It depends on the effort of volunteers in helping to take care of the animals.
