WHY JOIN?

613 Mitzvah Corps (commonly referred to as 613) is USY’s Social Action/Tikun Olam (Repairing the World) or SA/TO club.
The club was designed for USYers who wish to be more involved in social action and learn more about social activism within the context of Judaism. You don’t have to be a SA/TO Vice President to join – membership is open to any USYer!

How do I become a member?
There is an annual fee of $6.13 to be a member of 613 Mitzvah Corps. You can also pay $61.30 to become a lifetime member. Your membership fee goes to USY’s Tikun Olam Fund.

WHAT DOES MY MEMBERSHIP DO?

Here is a small list of the things $6.13 can buy for someone in need;
  • 5 boxes of pasta
  • 2 loaves of bread
  • 6 apples
  • 2 bottles of shampoo
  • 4 bars of soap
  • 2 tubes of toothpaste
  • 2 boxes of bandaids
Although it is just $6.13, it can go a long way in helping someone in need.

HOW DO I JOIN?

It is very easy to sign up and become a member. All you have to do is pay $6.13 for a yearly membership, or a generous $61.30 for a lifetime membership. When registering for your next convention, check off the “join 613 mitzvah club” to pay and you're in! You can also ask your regional SA/TO or a SA/TO RGB member.
