Fall Boards / Freshman KinnusFondly known as "FBFK", this is the convention that starts the CRUSY year off with a bang. FBFK is a convention for our freshmen, first-time convention participants, and our region's leaders, the members of Chapter Boards across the region. For our freshmen, the weekend is filled with programming made just for them, getting them acquainted with CRUSY conventions and each other, as well as giving everyone a taste of all things CRUSY, from home hospitality to amazing CRUSY Ruach. For the board members, the weekend is filled with leadership training, board meetings for each position, and a large group meeting for the “big decisions” like Tikkun Olam (tzedakah) money allocations.
If you’re on a chapter board (including general board) or if you’ve never been to a CRUSY convention before, this is one you will not want to miss! Fall KinnusOur shortest convention, Fall Kinnus is a snapshot of our region, the perfect opportunity for a taste of CRUSY. Spanning from Friday night to Sunday morning, Fall Kinnus has all the convention essentials: eating, praying, singing, dancing, learning, one night of home hospitality, and a shul-in Saturday night.
Incorporating all of what makes CRUSY special in one weekend, Fall Kinnus is the perfect time for you to connect with old friends and make new ones–all while having an unforgettable time! International ConventionUSY’s International Convention, commonly referred to as IC, is the largest gathering of Conservative Jewish teens. Held annually over the last full week in December, the convention moves to a different North American city each year and convenes hundreds of Jewish teens from across North America for five days of celebration, new memories, lifelong friendships, Jewish learning, and opportunities to give back to the local community.
